basa9 Privacy Policy — Your Data, Our Responsibility

We take your privacy seriously. Here is exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

🔐 Last updated: January 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how basa9 ("basa9", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information relating to users ("you", "your") of the basa9 website at basa9.vip and all related services, games, betting markets, promotions and payment functionality available through the platform. This Policy forms part of your agreement with basa9 and should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Responsible Gaming Policy.

By registering an account with basa9, making a deposit, or otherwise using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you should not use basa9. We may update this Policy from time to time; continued use of basa9 after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Your Consent

basa9 processes your personal data on the basis of your consent (given at registration), contractual necessity (to operate your account and process payments), and legal obligation (to comply with anti-money laundering and responsible gaming requirements applicable in Bangladesh). You may withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time by contacting [email protected].

1. Information We Collect

basa9 collects personal data through several channels — directly from you during registration and account use, automatically through the platform when you interact with it, and from third-party verification partners where required for compliance. The categories of data we collect are described below.

🪪Identity and Contact Information

When you register at basa9 we collect the following identity and contact information:

  • Full legal name and date of birth
  • Registered Bangladesh mobile number
  • Email address (if provided)
  • Copies of government-issued ID documents submitted for KYC verification

💳Payment and Financial Information

When you make a deposit or request a withdrawal, basa9 records the payment method used (for example, your bKash or Nagad mobile wallet number, your bank account details, or your Visa/Mastercard details), transaction amounts, transaction timestamps, and transaction reference numbers. basa9 does not store full card numbers — card transactions are processed via secure third-party payment gateways that are PCI-DSS compliant.

📱Technical and Device Information

When you access basa9 via a browser, our platform automatically collects certain technical information including your IP address, device type, operating system and version, browser type and version, screen resolution, referring URL, and session duration. This data is used for security monitoring, fraud detection, platform performance optimisation and to ensure a consistent experience across devices. We do not use device fingerprinting for advertising purposes.

🎮Gaming and Betting Activity

basa9 logs all gaming and betting activity on your account, including games played, bet amounts, bet outcomes, bonus activity, session times and responsible gaming tool usage. This data is used to operate your account, enforce responsible gaming limits, resolve disputes, detect fraud, and to comply with regulatory record-keeping obligations. Aggregated and anonymised versions of this data may be used to improve game selection and platform performance.

💬Customer Support Communications

When you contact the basa9 support team by email or any other channel, we retain records of those communications including the content of your messages, any attachments, and the resolution of your enquiry. These records are used to resolve your query, to train our support team, and to maintain a history of interactions for compliance and dispute resolution purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

basa9 uses personal data only for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use personal data for purposes that are incompatible with the reason it was originally collected.

⚙️Account Operation

Your identity, contact and payment information is used to create and maintain your basa9 account, process deposits and withdrawals, verify your age and identity, and communicate essential account information to you such as deposit confirmations, withdrawal status updates, and security alerts.

✔️Compliance and Legal Obligations

basa9 is required to collect and retain certain personal data to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) obligations, responsible gaming requirements, and fraud prevention obligations. This includes KYC verification records, transaction histories and source of funds documentation where requested. Regulatory obligations may require us to retain this data for a period of years beyond account closure.

🎁Promotions and Marketing

Where you have opted in to receive marketing communications, basa9 may use your contact information to send you information about promotions, bonuses, new games and seasonal offers relevant to your account. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting [email protected] with the subject line "Unsubscribe". Opting out of marketing does not affect essential account communications.

🛡️Fraud Prevention and Security

Technical data, gaming activity records, and payment history are used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, money laundering, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and other prohibited conduct. Where fraud is detected or reasonably suspected, basa9 may share relevant data with payment processors, financial crime reporting bodies, or law enforcement as required by applicable law.

📊Platform Improvement

Aggregated and anonymised data about how players use basa9 — including which games are played most frequently, which pages have high exit rates, and how long sessions typically last — is used internally to improve the platform's design, game selection, and performance. This analysis never identifies individual users and is used solely to make basa9 better for all players.

basa9 processes personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: (a) Consent — where you have given clear and specific consent for processing, for example marketing communications; (b) Contractual Necessity — where processing is necessary to perform the contract between you and basa9, including account operation, payment processing and bonus management; (c) Legal Obligation — where processing is required to comply with AML, KYC, responsible gaming, or other applicable legal obligations; (d) Legitimate Interest — where basa9 has a legitimate business interest in processing, such as fraud detection and platform security, provided that interest is not outweighed by your rights and interests.

Where processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, and does not prevent basa9 from continuing to process data on other legal bases (for example, legal obligation) where those bases independently apply.

4. Sharing Your Information

basa9 does not sell personal data to third parties. We share personal data only in the limited circumstances described below, and only to the minimum extent necessary for the stated purpose.

🏦Payment Processors

When you make a deposit or request a withdrawal, your payment details are shared with the relevant payment processor (for example, the bKash, Nagad, or banking gateway) to the extent necessary to complete the transaction. Payment processors receive only the data they require and are subject to their own privacy policies and security obligations.

🔍Legal and Regulatory Authorities

basa9 may be required by law to share personal data with relevant authorities including law enforcement agencies, financial crime reporting bodies, or regulatory bodies. In all such cases, basa9 shares only the minimum data required by the applicable legal obligation and will not disclose data voluntarily beyond what the law requires.

🤝Service Providers

basa9 uses third-party service providers to help operate the platform, including KYC verification providers, fraud detection services, customer support tools, and platform analytics services. These providers access personal data only to the extent necessary to deliver the services they provide to basa9 and are contractually bound to process that data securely and only for the specified purpose.

🚫No Sale of Data

basa9 does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to any third party for their own marketing, advertising or commercial purposes. Personal data collected via basa9 is used solely to operate your account, comply with legal obligations, improve the platform, and communicate with you about your account and promotions you have opted in to receive.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

basa9 uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the platform, maintain session state, detect fraud, and improve performance. A cookie is a small file stored on your device by your browser. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent.

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of basa9. In particular, session cookies are essential for logging in and maintaining your authenticated session; without them, the platform cannot function correctly. Non-essential cookies (analytics and preference cookies) can be disabled without affecting core functionality.

🍪Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. They include session authentication cookies (which keep you logged in during your visit), security cookies (which help detect and prevent fraud), and preference cookies (which remember your language and display settings). These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality.

📈Analytics Cookies

basa9 uses analytics cookies to collect anonymised data about how players navigate and interact with the platform. This information is used solely to improve the platform and does not identify individual users. Analytics data may be processed by a third-party analytics provider operating under a data processing agreement with basa9.

⚙️Cookie Management

You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to view, delete and block cookies from specific websites. Please consult your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that blocking all cookies may prevent certain features of basa9 from working correctly, including the ability to log in and maintain an active session.

6. Data Retention

basa9 retains personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as required by applicable law. The following general retention periods apply: account data and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years from the date of account closure to satisfy AML and financial record-keeping obligations; KYC documents are retained for a minimum of 5 years from the date of verification or account closure, whichever is later; customer support communications are retained for 2 years from the date of the last communication; and device and session logs are retained for up to 12 months.

Where data is no longer required and there is no legal obligation to retain it, basa9 will securely delete or anonymise the data. Anonymised data (from which no individual can be identified) may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics and improvement purposes.

⚠️

Important: Even if you close your basa9 account, basa9 is legally required to retain certain records (including KYC documents and transaction history) for the periods described above. Account closure does not result in the immediate deletion of all personal data held about you.

7. Data Security

basa9 implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction or disclosure. Security measures in place include SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit between your browser and the basa9 servers, secure storage of personal data on access-controlled servers, regular security assessments and vulnerability testing, strict internal access controls ensuring that only authorised personnel can access personal data, and two-factor authentication requirements for staff accounts with access to player data.

While basa9 takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal data, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. If you have reason to believe that your account has been compromised, you should notify basa9 immediately by contacting [email protected]. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, basa9 will notify affected users as soon as practicable.

8. Your Rights Over Your Personal Data

You have a number of rights in relation to the personal data basa9 holds about you. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting [email protected]. basa9 will respond to all valid rights requests within 30 days.

👁️

Right of Access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data basa9 holds about you. We will provide this in a commonly used electronic format within 30 days of receiving a verified request.

✏️

Right to Rectification

If any personal data basa9 holds about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected. For certain types of data (such as your registered mobile number), you may be able to update this directly within your account settings; for other data, please contact support.

🗑️

Right to Erasure

You may request deletion of personal data that basa9 holds about you where: the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected; you withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing; or the data has been unlawfully processed. Note that this right is subject to basa9's legal obligation to retain certain records (see Data Retention above), which may override your erasure request.

📦

Right to Data Portability

Where processing is based on consent or contractual necessity, you have the right to receive a copy of the personal data you provided to basa9 in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to request that this data be transmitted to another controller where technically feasible.

🛑

Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data where that processing is based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to opt out of direct marketing at any time, without giving any reason. Where you object to marketing, basa9 will stop processing your data for that purpose immediately.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of your rights, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Rights Request" and describe the right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity before processing the request. There is no charge for submitting a data rights request. We aim to respond within 30 days; complex requests may take up to 60 days, in which case we will notify you of the extended timeline.

9. Children's Privacy

basa9 is strictly an adult platform. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. Registration is only permitted for adults aged 21 and above. If basa9 discovers that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, that account will be immediately closed, all funds will be dealt with in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, and all personal data relating to that individual will be deleted as soon as legally permissible. If you believe a minor has registered at basa9, please notify us immediately at [email protected].

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

basa9 reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When a material change is made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy and, where the change is significant, we may notify you directly via your registered contact details. Your continued use of basa9 after a Policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically so you are always informed about how we handle your personal data. The most current version of this Policy is always available at basa9.vip/privacy-policy.
